Irish Setters - Rescue Dogs
Irish Setters, as is any other dog breed, are turned into animal shelters every year. Volunteer groups and organizations help Irish Setters in need. First, they arrange with a shelter or a foster home to take care of the rescue Irish Setter. Initial foster period is the period when rescue volunteers evaluate a rescue dog's health and temperament. Most rescue Irish Setters get veterinary help before they are placed into new adoptive homes. All rescue Irish Setters should be spayed or neutered.
